‘Nice to Meet You’,

Released June 2022

Story behind the song:

“Nice To Meet You” is a coming of age song about growing up, finding your place in the world, making tough decisions, treading your own path, and shooting for the moon even if you land in the stars. It’s about welcoming in and accepting the new you, who is made up of all that you’ve seen and done up until this moment.

So you told us your news, you’ll be leaving soon

Found your place in the stars, though you were shooting for the moon

Will you happy, will you find the peace you need

As you take on the world will you remember we believed

You’ll find the place where you belong

And we’ll be here cheering you on

Nothing is lost, so don’t be afraid

Here you go, launching off with a new path to tread

Don’t look back, we’ll be fine, there are great things ahead

All you’ve seen, all you’ve done, they make up the new you

And it’s so nice to meet you

You can travel the world, but your heart can pull you home

You can be in a crowd and yet you can feel alone

When you love two places you never feel quite whole

And so many changes, I know it can take its toll

And you’ll find your place in the sun

Working out who you’ve become

Nothing is lost, so don’t be afraid

‘This One's For Us’,

Released April 2022

Story behind the song

'This One's For Us' is a song about being brave and having the courage to chase your dreams even if they seem outrageous. It's also about letting our lights shine, in a world that can feel increasingly dark.

“'This One's For Us' is an anthem of exhortation to live our best life.”

You spent so long trying not to shine

When all you needed was permission to fly

They tried so hard to put out your light

But lights only shine brighter in the dark of the night

This one’s for me, it’s my time, it’s my moment to shine

This one’s for you, to make you proud, to let you see my love out loud

This one’s for us, no regrets, let’s go all in, we will not let our dreams go

Yeah this one’s for us, this one’s for us

Don’t settle for less than what you need

And don’t be afraid to tell the world your dream

I look around and see so many poppy flowers on the ground

But they were supposed to climb towards the sunlight

Be brave and courageous

Be bold and outrageous

Be the light the world needs

‘We'll Sing Again’,

Released November 2021

Story behind the song

This song will resonate with all those who have loved and lost someone dear to them. It's about grief, but it's also about hope and faith, and the promise that the end is not really the end.

Like a tattoo, you are always with me

Like red wine, your stain will never leave

And on, and on, and on we go

But how, but how, we never know

And all the places, well they still look the same

And all the faces, they are smiling again

And so on, and on, and on we go

But how, but how, we never know

Though I walk on through valleys so deep

And I must walk alone without you

The steps that we shared, they won’t disappear

And I’ll take the next one’s for you

I will not fear, I will not fear, I will not fear no evil

Cause you are near, cause you are near, cause you are near.

Joy cometh, joy cometh, joy cometh in the morning

And we’ll sing again, we’ll sing again, we’ll sing again.

Debut single:

‘Till I Can Get To You’,

Released July 2021

Story behind the song

This is a song for our times, written in 2020 in the depths of Melbourne’s long and multiple lock-downs, when the borders were closed and strict travel restrictions were in place. If you were kept apart from loved ones due to the pandemic, then this song will resonate with you.”

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen your sweet face

When we last said goodbye, who knew we’d have so much space

And if only I’d known what was coming our way

I would have told you how I felt about you that day

Stay well and stay safe my love till I can get to you

The borders are closed, the planes don’t fly, and I miss you

A year’s gone by, the kids have grown

The harder I try, the more divides me from you

And let’s hold onto hope, and lean into our faith

God knows when there’s a will there’ll always be a way

The longer it takes, the faster I will run to you

I’ll picture that moment when I lay my eyes on you
